Dr. Bhaumik Shah

A/Prof Bhaumik Shah is an oncologist with a clinical interest in breast, gastrointestinal, lung and prostate cancers. He believes a good rapport and mutual understanding is key to providing high-quality care.

Bhaumik is an advocate for supportive care and believes that cancer doesn’t just affect a person’s physical health but takes a profound emotional toll on both cancer sufferers and their support networks. He is an examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, lectures at Deakin University, and is involved in clinical research in both public and private settings.
